R.u.F.F. Rescue

Dr. Glaesemann and the Blue Valley Veterinary Clinic are proud to support the R.u.F.F. Rescue, a 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of small dogs (under 20 lbs.) in the Heartland. BVVC’s licensed technician, Wendy, is a volunteer and board member with R.u.F.F. Rescue and serves as the clinic’s liaison with the group with Dr. Glaesemann and the Blue Valley Veterinary Clinic providing veterinary services. These services include surgery, preventative healthcare, and illness diagnosis and treatment. Check out R.u.F.F. Rescue’s website to adopt a new fuzzy family member or to consider donating to this great cause!

Nebraska State Fair Birthing Pavilion

Dr. Glaesemann volunteered with the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association at the Birthing Pavilion at the 2016 Nebraska State Fair. This year marks Dr. Glaesemann’s 10th year volunteering for this event – she’s been involved for 1/3 of her lifetime! The Birthing Pavilion is a great way for the public to experience the wonder of new life and farm animals. The birthing pavilion showcases cattle, sheep, pigs, and poultry.

Vet Care Charitable Fund

Blue Valley Veterinary Clinic was the first clinic in Nebraska to set up a veterinary care charitable fund with the American Veterinary Medical Foundation. This fund is used to provide reduced cost veterinary care to those in need, including disabled veterans requiring a service dog, senior citizens on a fixed income, clients with an unforeseen financial crisis, victims of domestic abuse, and rescued pets. Click here to donate to BVVC’s fund through the AVMF to provide care for misfortunate pets and people in our community.
